PRESIDENT FAIR WALK

APPROXIMATE DURATION IN DESTINATION: 6 hours.
We arrive at the town of El Corralito by provincial route No. 308 or by way of production via Yanima.
Leaving from the town of El Corralito, from the first and old school that was built in the area, we will do 6 hours of walking, the first 3 hours are quite difficult, where there is abundant vegetation. We will pass by landmarks such as "La Piedra Mora", "Cachorro muerto," among others, and so on.
From the height, you can see a large part of the La Cocha department: Yanima, Los Pizarro, etc. We will pass through an area of myrtles, giant plants, and the so-called "goat beard", after 2 hours we arrive at a place where you can observe the small Escaba Dam in a panoramic view.
In a very beautiful field, we will rest, have a snack or eat some fruit and then continue. The descent ends just behind the Escaba inn. Then we return by the provincial route Nº308.

The walk is for people in good physical condition. We take 2 horses to carry things and be lighter. It is a walk where you can see the Yunga, landscapes, and bird watching. It is called the path of the President because it was the path that the then president took in the mid-twentieth century to access what would later become the Escaba dam and place its foundation stone.
This excursion can also be done as an extension from Villa Batiruana if one spends the night in the area.
